Whiskey Cavalier is an action adventure series starring Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Tyer James Williams, Ana Ortiz and Vir Das.

The Pilot episode of Whiskey Cavalier follows FBI agent Will ” Whiskey” Chase played by Scott Foley (Scandal, Felicity) as he tries to bring supposed traitor Edgar Standish played by Tyer James Williams (Everybody Hates Chris, The Walking Dead) into custody of the FBI but things don’t go as planned when CIA agent Frankie Trowbridge played by Lauren Cohan (Supernatural, The Walking Dead) messes up his plan and from this moment a fun thrilling ride ensues that eventually sees the two teaming up to stop the bad guys.
What can I say about this pilot episode other than that it was good, a series like this that features characters that are complete opposites can easily feel forced but here everything is so natural especially the chemistry between the lead actors. The premise and its characters have been done to death so it’s easy to see how one can be put off by this show but Whiskey Cavalier thrives due to the amazing chemistry between Scott and Lauren, the humour and fast paced attitude.
The writing is one of my favourite aspects because it is not too serious despite the show dealing with government agencies and whatever, the writers created this world where humour thrives even if the world is ending and personally I find it refreshing because I’m kinda tired of always holding my breath and hoping that they come out alive, and now I don’t have to stress because here is a fun show that doesn’t take itself too seriously and the good guys always win and I guess we kinda need that since we’re living in the era of doom and gloom.

Overall this show will be a really great binge worthy show once all the episodes are done. You’ll get the cool action sequences where the characters break like about a billion international laws, you’ll get the heartwarming-ish comedy, you’ll get the “high stakes”, the stereotypical characters but the most important thing you’ll get from Whiskey Cavalier is pure entertainment. So this is a defs must watch if you’re looking for something humour filled and simple.
