FBI is a drama series created by TV icon Dick Wolf, the procedural series follows the New York office of the FBI as they do their best using their skills and other resources to keep the public safe from harm. FBI stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Ebonée Noel and film and tv legend Sela Ward.

I haven’t enjoyed a new Dick Wolf show like this since Chicago P.D., this new series is very exciting and it’s just good entertainment.

The pilot episode introduces us to the FBI’s New York office team and they’re immediately thrown into action when a bomb goes off in an apartment building and as the FBI investigate the case, the characters and who they are a slowly revealed and like many of these procedural shows we see what makes them tick through the people they interact with as they try to catch the bad guy.

Though the episode might feel a bit too familiar the pilot episode of FBI boasts compelling characters that are handled well by capable actors and the action is just the right amount so that it doesn’t overwhelm or underwhelm but there’s a balance between the spectacle and the emotion of the show.

The second act of the episode was really impressive for me because we got some pretty strong performances and beautiful writing that saw the characters show themselves a bit more and move forward. I’m still on the fence about the political undertones of the show though because it seems like it’s designed to be sorta of like a pro-police type of show and we all know that not all men in blue are good, LMAO however I did enjoy when that racist scumbag got embarrassed and arrested that was fun.

Like I said I enjoyed FBI’s pilot episode, I like the characters, I loved the pacing, and the writing and story was good. I could see myself enjoying this series until season 4, however as season one progresses forward I would love for it to move away from the familiar territory especially with the characters cause even with them they still feel familiar and I actually like these characters but I would love it if they did something new with them. So yes FBI is defs a must watch especially if you love your cop procedural dramas.
